About this template
Use this formal Certificate of Appreciation to put a thank-you in writing. It suits organisations, schools and event hosts, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. With a bold band of colour and Playfair Display headings, it has a traditional feel, while the Deep Teal palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With sincere thanks to [Name] for [Contribution]. Your generosity made a real difference.
For [Name]: thank you for the patience, the encouragement and the many hours behind the scenes.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Plum & Blush, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Markazi Text.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
