Here is a classic way to celebrate a goal that has been reached: the Silver Laurel Certificate of Excellence, a template that suits organisations, schools and award committees. Look closely and you will notice a laurel wreath and a medal, set off by Neuton lettering in silver. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.

How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Gold & Ink, Silver & Navy and Bronze & Forest), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Markazi Text.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
