About this template
Schools, managers and club leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to celebrate a goal that has been reached: a traditional Certificate of Excellence that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. It is shown here in pink, with a medal, Cormorant Unicase headings and Jost for the smaller text. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With congratulations to [Name] for reaching [Milestone], a first for [Organisation].
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Carrara & Gold, Rosa Portogallo and Calacatta Blue), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
