About this template
Here is a traditional way to celebrate a goal that has been reached: the Black Seal Black Belt Certificate, a template that suits martial-arts clubs, dojos and instructors. Look closely and you will notice a round seal and scattered stars, set off by EB Garamond lettering in black.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
In recognition of [Name]’s achievement on [Date]. Proof that persistence pays off.
This certificate recognises [Name] for Black Belt Certificate: exceptional effort, and an even better outcome.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Ivory and Gold, Pewter and Oxblood), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
