About this template
Swim schools, clubs and coaches reach for designs like this one when they want to record training that has been completed: a bright Water Safety Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Dusk colour scheme, with flowing waves as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Comfortaa with Lexend.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Certificate number [0000]: [Name] completed Water Safety Certificate on [Date]. Refresher due [Month Year].
[Name] has successfully completed Water Safety Certificate and is competent in the procedures covered. Valid until [Expiry date].
This certifies that [Name] has completed Water Safety Certificate ([4] CPD hours) on [Date], delivered by [Trainer].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the safety skills learned lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Safe Harbour, Reef and Dusk), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
