About this template
Here is a modern way to record training that has been completed: the Midnight Mountain Gas Testing Certificate, a template that suits energy companies, contractors and HSE trainers. It is shown here in midnight blue, with a mountain skyline, Oxanium headings and Exo 2 for the smaller text.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has completed Gas Testing ([4] CPD hours) on [Date], delivered by [Trainer].
[Name] has successfully completed Gas Testing and is competent in the procedures covered. Valid until [Expiry date].
Certificate number [0000]: [Name] completed Gas Testing on [Date]. Refresher due [Month Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the course code, trainer ID and issued fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Monitor Orange, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
