About this template
Here is a modern way to record training that has been completed: the Gold Mountain Glider Pilot Certificate, a template that suits space camps, science centres and flying clubs. On CerShare it comes in the Evening Thermal colour scheme, with a mountain skyline as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Yanone Kaffeesatz with Source Sans 3. It works just as well as a course completion certificate or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has completed Glider Pilot ([4] CPD hours) on [Date], delivered by [Trainer].
This is to confirm that [Name] attended Glider Pilot on [Date] and passed the practical assessment.
[Name] has completed Glider Pilot. Please keep this certificate with your training records.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the training launches, best height gain and solo flight lines. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Summer Sky, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
