About this template
Here is a contemporary way to honour players, finishers and teams: the Plum Banded Martial Arts Grading Certificate, a template that suits martial-arts clubs, dojos and instructors. Epilogue sets the title and Be Vietnam Pro carries the details, with a bold band of colour giving the page its character.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations to [Team], [League] champions [Year].
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the new grade, previous grade and grading results lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Epilogue and Be Vietnam Pro. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Prefer another look? Switch to the Teal Board or Ink Board colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
