About this template
Here is a modern way to honour players, finishers and teams: the Olive Leafy Long-Distance Trail Certificate, a template that suits adventure centres, guides and outdoor clubs. It is shown here in olive, with leaves and branches, Smokum headings and Bitter for the smaller text. You will also find it under Course Completion and Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations to [Team], [League] champions [Year].
Presented to [Name], Long-distance Trail Completion, [Season]. [Goals] goals, [Assists] assists and endless energy.
This certifies that [Name] has been promoted to [Belt or level] at [Club], [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the distance, days on trail and stages lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Smokum and Bitter. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Prefer another look? Switch to the Trailhead or Coastal Path colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
