Here is a modern way to honour players, finishers and teams: the Mint Starry Orienteering Certificate, a template that suits adventure centres, guides and outdoor clubs. With scattered stars and Staatliches headings, it has a modern feel, while the Night-O palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a course completion certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
This certifies that [Name] has been promoted to [Belt or level] at [Club], [Date].
Presented to [Name], Orienteering, [Season]. [Goals] goals, [Assists] assists and endless energy.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the course, controls and finish time fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Staatliches and Public Sans. Prefer another look? Switch to the Forest Map or Heathland colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
