About this template
Here is a contemporary way to confirm a professional qualification: the Black Badge Micro-credential Certificate, a template that suits training platforms and skills programmes. Look closely and you will notice a badge and a geometric pattern, set off by Dosis lettering in black. You will also find it under Course Completion on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is hereby recognised as a [Title], having passed the assessment on [Date] with a score of [Score].
This is to certify that [Company] is an authorised [Partner type] of [Organisation] for [Year].
Presented to [Name] in recognition of achieving Micro-credential, [Level], on [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, credits, learning outcomes and study hours and the signatures. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight Patch, or match your own brand colours. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Dosis and Nunito Sans. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Lalezar.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
