About this template
The Purple Starry Young Volunteer Award is a bright Young Volunteer Award template that youth groups, scouts and school programmes use to turn a small victory into a big moment. The colour scheme you see, Sunset Team, is one of three built into the design, with scattered stars at the heart of the layout. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Super star alert! [Name] completed [Challenge] on [Date].
Hooray for [Name]! You did it all by yourself, and that deserves a certificate.
Well done, [Name]! Every day you are getting bigger, braver and better.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the volunteering with, hours given and since lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Delius and Mulish. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Team Colours, Sunset Team and Ocean Team), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
