About this template
Made with youth groups, scouts and school programmes in mind, this Junior Leader Award helps you turn a small victory into a big moment without starting from a blank page. Baloo 2 sets the title and Figtree carries the details, with a geometric pattern giving the page its character. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name], who [did something amazing] this week. High five!
Well done, [Name]! Every day you are getting bigger, braver and better.
Super star alert! [Name] completed [Challenge] on [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the group led, training and hours led fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Baloo 2 and Figtree. Prefer another look? Switch to the Indigo Spark or Forest Lime colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
