About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Slate Tassel Valedictorian Certificate gives universities, colleges and graduate schools a classic way to mark the day someone graduates. Look closely and you will notice a graduation cap and tassel and chart lines, set off by Linden Hill lettering in slate grey.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has met every requirement of Valedictorian with determination and good humour. We are proud to call you a graduate.
Presented to [Name], Class of [Year], with pride in everything you have learned and excitement for everything still to come.
Congratulations, [Name]! You walked in curious and you walk out ready. With love from all of us at [School].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the cumulative GPA and class rank fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Colours are yours to change: try Black & Gold, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Linden Hill and Quattrocento. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
