About this template
Here is a timeless way to mark the day someone graduates: the Burgundy Tassel Distinguished Alumni Award, a template that suits universities, colleges and graduate schools. With a graduation cap and tassel and Castoro headings, it has a formal feel, while the Crimson Hall palette keeps the colours fresh. You will also find it under Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], Class of [Year], with pride in everything you have learned and excitement for everything still to come.
Today we celebrate [Name], graduate of [Year]: may your next steps be as bold as the ones that brought you here.
[Name] has met every requirement of Distinguished Alumni with determination and good humour. We are proud to call you a graduate.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Prefer another look? Switch to the Varsity Navy or Evergreen colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
