About this template
Made with colleges, academies and adult-education centres in mind, this Foundation Year Completion Certificate helps you mark the day someone graduates without starting from a blank page. With a medal and Encode Sans headings, it has a clean feel, while the Limestone & Plum palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a course completion certificate or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
In honour of [Name], who completed Foundation Year Completion in [Year]. The tassel moves from right to left, and a new chapter begins.
This certifies that [Name] has completed Foundation Year Completion and is hereby recognised as a graduate of [School], on this day, [Date].
Presented to [Name], Class of [Year], with pride in everything you have learned and excitement for everything still to come.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the progresses to and foundation year lines. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Sandstone & Navy, Granite & Teal and Limestone & Plum), and every single colour can be changed. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
