About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Slate Ornate Self-paced Module Certificate gives online course creators and e-learning platforms a modern way to close a course with something worth keeping. With corner ornaments and Signika headings, it has a clean feel, while the Dusk Glass palette keeps the colours fresh.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For completing the Self-paced Module and putting new skills into practice from the very first session.
[Name] finished the Self-paced Module with a final grade of [Grade]. Congratulations on a course well done.
This certifies that [Name] has successfully completed the Self-paced Module, [12] hours of guided study, on [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, started, finished and time on module and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Sand & Teal, Dusk Glass and Sage Timer), and every single colour can be changed. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
