About this template
Here is a contemporary way to close a course with something worth keeping: the Plum Sunburst Mobile App Development Certificate, a template that suits tech teams, coding schools and hackathon organisers. On CerShare it comes in the Berry & Teal colour scheme, with a sunburst as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Google Sans with DM Sans. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has successfully completed Mobile App Development, [12] hours of guided study, on [Date].
Completed by [Name] on [Date]: Mobile App Development, including all assignments and the final assessment.
Presented to [Name] for reaching the final lesson of Mobile App Development. Well done, and keep practising.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, apps published, duration and final review and the signatures. Colours are yours to change: try Grape Soda, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Google Sans and DM Sans. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
