About this template
If you need to close a course with something worth keeping, this Visiting Scholar Certificate does it with a crisp layout that business schools and continuing education units will recognise straight away. Literata sets the title and Source Sans 3 carries the details, with a stack of books giving the page its character. You will also find it under Graduation and Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Completed by [Name] on [Date]: Visiting Scholar, including all assignments and the final assessment.
For completing Visiting Scholar and putting new skills into practice from the very first session.
[Name] finished Visiting Scholar with a final grade of [Grade]. Congratulations on a course well done.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the host faculty, residence and home institution fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Literata and Source Sans 3. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Colours are yours to change: try Reading Room, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
