About this template
Homeschooling parents, tutors and online schools reach for designs like this one when they want to close a course with something worth keeping: a modern Exam Preparation Course Completion Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Look closely and you will notice chart lines and a bold band of colour, set off by Funnel Sans lettering in black. You will also find it under Achievement and School on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For completing the Exam Preparation Course Completion and putting new skills into practice from the very first session.
[Name] finished the Exam Preparation Course Completion with a final grade of [Grade]. Congratulations on a course well done.
[Name] has met all the requirements of the Exam Preparation Course Completion and is presented with this certificate of completion.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the mock exam scores, target 85% and course hours lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Graphite & Lime, Navy & Coral and Plum & Aqua), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Noto Kufi Arabic.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
