About this template
Made with language schools, libraries and writing groups in mind, this French Language Course Certificate helps you close a course with something worth keeping without starting from a blank page. The colour scheme you see, Bordeaux, is one of three built into the design, with a ribbon rosette at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Completed by [Name] on [Date]: the French Language Course, including all assignments and the final assessment.
This certifies that [Name] has successfully completed the French Language Course, [12] hours of guided study, on [Date].
This is to confirm that [Name] attended and completed the French Language Course, led by [Instructor], from [Start date] to [End date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the cefr level and course hours lines. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Bleu de Paris, or match your own brand colours. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with El Messiri.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
