Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations to [Name] on Spelling Award. A well-deserved win.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Red Pen, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
