About this template
Teachers, subject leads and schools reach for designs like this one when they want to name a winner and make it official: a fun Phonics Star Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Mochiy Pop One sets the title and Quicksand carries the details, with a sunburst giving the page its character. Change a few words and it doubles as a school certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Awarded to [Name], winner of Phonics Star Award, [Year].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Primary Pop, or match your own brand colours. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Marhey.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
