About this template
Made with coaches, sports clubs and leagues in mind, this Best Defender Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. Look closely and you will notice chart lines and a bold band of colour, set off by Mitr lettering in emerald. Change a few words and it doubles as a sports certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the tackles won, interceptions and clean sheets fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. The design comes with three colour schemes (Turf Blue, Pitch Green and Slate Red), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
