Use this formal Donor Appreciation Certificate to put a thank-you in writing. It suits organisations, schools and teams of every kind, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Look closely and you will notice a sunburst and a mountain skyline, set off by Della Respira lettering in plum. It works just as well as a volunteer certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With sincere thanks to [Name] for [Contribution]. Your generosity made a real difference.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Evergreen & Gold, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
