Here is a formal way to put a thank-you in writing: the Navy Sunburst Certificate of Recognition, a template that suits organisations, schools and event hosts. It is shown here in navy, with a sunburst, Rouge Script headings and EB Garamond for the smaller text. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] with gratitude for sharing your expertise at [Event] on [Date].
In appreciation of [Name], whose time, energy and kindness helped [Organisation] through [Period].
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Ivory & Gold or Black & Gold colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
