About this template
The Charcoal Medal Certificate of Recognition is a bright Certificate of Recognition template that organisations, schools and event hosts use to put a thank-you in writing. On CerShare it comes in the Plum Card colour scheme, with a medal as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Fredericka the Great with Josefin Sans. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate of appreciation is presented to [Name] for outstanding support and dedication.
For [Name]: thank you for the patience, the encouragement and the many hours behind the scenes.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, branch and year and the signatures. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Prefer another look? Switch to the Index Card or Green Card colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
