About this template
Football and basketball clubs, coaches and academies reach for designs like this one when they want to honour players, finishers and teams: a modern Football Player of the Season Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Look closely and you will notice chart lines and a geometric pattern, set off by Russo One lettering in sunshine yellow.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] finished [Event] in [Time] on [Date]. Every step counted.
Presented to [Name] for completing Football Player of the Season. Train hard, play fair, have fun.
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the goals, assists and matches lines. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Russo One and Barlow. The design comes with three colour schemes (Floodlight Navy, Claret Night and Emerald Night), and every single colour can be changed. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
