If you need to confirm that someone took part, this World Book Day Certificate does it with a playful layout that schools, NGOs and workplaces marking international days will recognise straight away. With a ribbon and Corben headings, it has a playful feel, while the Oxblood Morocco palette keeps the colours rich. It works just as well as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.

How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, books read and pages turned and the signatures. Colours are yours to change: try Bottle Cloth, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
