About this template
Here is a cheerful way to turn a small victory into a big moment: the Teal Banded Dinosaur Explorer Award, a template that suits parents, nurseries and early-years teachers. With a bold band of colour and Original Surfer headings, it has a cheerful feel, while the Lagoon palette keeps the colours fresh. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Well done, [Name]! Every day you are getting bigger, braver and better.
Hooray for [Name]! You did it all by yourself, and that deserves a certificate.
Presented to [Name] for [Reason]. Keep shining!
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. The design comes with three colour schemes (Jurassic, Lagoon and Volcano), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Lemonada.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
