About this template
Here is a playful way to mark the day someone graduates: the Sunshine Yellow Starry 5th Grade Graduation Certificate, a template that suits primary schools and teachers. With scattered stars and Bubblegum Sans headings, it has a cheerful feel, while the Lagoon Pop palette keeps the colours fresh. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Today we celebrate [Name], graduate of [Year]: may your next steps be as bold as the ones that brought you here.
In honour of [Name], who completed 5th Grade Graduation Certificate in [Year]. The tassel moves from right to left, and a new chapter begins.
Awarded to [Name] on graduating from [School]. Thank you for the questions, the laughter and the hard work.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the grade fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the High Five or Grape Pop colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Bubblegum Sans and Figtree. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
