About this template
Emergency services, public bodies and civic volunteers reach for designs like this one when they want to mark the day someone graduates: a classic Diplomatic Service Recognition Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Bordeaux colour scheme, with leaves and branches as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Cinzel with Cormorant Garamond. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has met every requirement of Diplomatic Service Recognition with determination and good humour. We are proud to call you a graduate.
This certifies that [Name] has completed Diplomatic Service Recognition and is hereby recognised as a graduate of [School], on this day, [Date].
With this certificate, [School] confirms that [Name] has successfully completed Diplomatic Service Recognition.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the posting and service fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Cinzel and Cormorant Garamond. Colours are yours to change: try Embassy Navy, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
