Here is a modern way to close a course with something worth keeping: the Copper Wave Puppy Class Certificate, a template that suits pet owners, trainers, shelters and shows. The colour scheme you see, Lilac & Choc, is one of three built into the design, with flowing waves at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has met all the requirements of the Puppy Class and is presented with this certificate of completion.
[Name] finished the Puppy Class with a final grade of [Grade]. Congratulations on a course well done.
Completed by [Name] on [Date]: the Puppy Class, including all assignments and the final assessment.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, course and age at start and the signatures. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Colours are yours to change: try Sky & Biscuit, or match your own brand colours. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
