About this template
Made with managers, HR and people teams in mind, this Mentor of the Year Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. The colour scheme you see, Slate Berry, is one of three built into the design, with flowing waves at the heart of the layout. Change a few words and it doubles as a staff award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Winner of Mentor of the Year: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
Awarded to [Name], winner of Mentor of the Year, [Year].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Zilla Slab and Barlow. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Chalk and Rope or Granite Moss colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
