About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Certificate of Honour helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. With Cormorant Upright headings, it has a classic feel, while the Dove & Blush palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a long service award or a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations to [Name] on [Award name]. A well-deserved win.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Peacock, or match your own brand colours. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
