About this template
Organisations, schools and teams of every kind reach for designs like this one when they want to put a thank-you in writing: a classic Speaker Appreciation Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. DM Serif Text sets the title and Figtree carries the details, with flowing waves giving the page its character. You will also find it under Participation & Attendance on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
In appreciation of [Name], whose time, energy and kindness helped [Organisation] through [Period].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the opening keynote, duration and audience fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight & Amber, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
