About this template
Quran schools, mosques and Islamic centres reach for designs like this one when they want to celebrate Ramadan and Eid: a timeless Quran Recitation Competition Winner Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Garnet & Gold colour scheme, with a ribbon rosette as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Gentium Book Plus with Manrope. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name], [Place] in the Quran recitation competition, Ramadan [Year].
With sincere thanks to [Name] for volunteering at our Ramadan iftar, [Year].
Congratulations to [Name] on completing the Ramadan reading challenge. May it be accepted.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the winner, category and score fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Lapis & Gold, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
