About this template
Here is a fun way to turn a small victory into a big moment: the Playful Midnight Moonlit Bedtime Star Award, a template that suits parents and grandparents at home. The colour scheme you see, Plum Night, is one of three built into the design, with a crescent moon at the heart of the layout. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] for [Reason]. Keep shining!
Hooray for [Name]! You did it all by yourself, and that deserves a certificate.
[Name] is officially Bedtime Star Award. Signed by [Grown-up], [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the lights out, nights in a row and stories read fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Lobster Two and Varela Round. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight Blue, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
