About this template
Here is a fun way to turn a small victory into a big moment: the Midnight Sunburst Junior Ranger Award, a template that suits youth groups, scouts and school programmes. With a sunburst and Varela Round headings, it has a bright feel, while the River Slate palette keeps the colours fresh. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is officially Junior Ranger. Signed by [Grown-up], [Date].
For [Name], who [did something amazing] this week. High five!
Hooray for [Name]! You did it all by yourself, and that deserves a certificate.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the species logged, field hours and project lines. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Pine & Ochre or Autumn Trail colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
