About this template
The Black Starry Screen-free Challenge Certificate is a cheerful Screen-free Challenge Certificate template that parents and grandparents at home use to turn a small victory into a big moment. On CerShare it comes in the Night Plum colour scheme, with scattered stars as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Lemon with Outfit. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is officially Screen-free Challenge Certificate. Signed by [Grown-up], [Date].
This award goes to [Name] for being brave, kind and trying your very best.
Hooray for [Name]! You did it all by yourself, and that deserves a certificate.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, days unplugged and instead of screens and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Lemon and Outfit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Power Down or Deep Forest colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
