About this template
Here is a formal way to mark the day someone graduates: the Crimson Tassel Graduation with Honours Certificate, a template that suits middle and high schools. On CerShare it comes in the Crimson and Gold colour scheme, with a graduation cap and tassel as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Cardo with Mulish. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has met every requirement of Graduation with Honours Certificate with determination and good humour. We are proud to call you a graduate.
Today we celebrate [Name], graduate of [Year]: may your next steps be as bold as the ones that brought you here.
With this certificate, [School] confirms that [Name] has successfully completed Graduation with Honours Certificate.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Honour Blue and Gold, Crimson and Gold and Emerald and Silver), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Mirza.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
