About this template
Schools, colleges and graduation committees reach for designs like this one when they want to mark the day someone graduates: a formal Graduation Speaker Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. With scattered stars and Instrument Serif headings, it has a timeless feel, while the Burgundy palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name], Class of [Year], with pride in everything you have learned and excitement for everything still to come.
Awarded to [Name] on graduating from [School]. Thank you for the questions, the laughter and the hard work.
Today we celebrate [Name], graduate of [Year]: may your next steps be as bold as the ones that brought you here.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, title of the address and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Oxford Navy, Burgundy and Forest), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
