About this template
Use this modern New Year Gift Certificate to turn a present into something to unwrap. It suits shops, small businesses and gift-givers, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Look closely and you will notice scattered stars and a bold band of colour, set off by Dela Gothic One lettering in sunshine yellow. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of participation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
To: [Name]. From: [Giver]. A gift of [Value] to spend on whatever makes you happy.
Enjoy [Gift], [Name]. Terms: [one line], valid until [Date].
For [Name]: New Year Gift Certificate, because you deserve a little something.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, to, from and gift value and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Dela Gothic One and Outfit. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight & Gold, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
