About this template
Use this formal Barbershop Gift Certificate to turn a present into something to unwrap. It suits spas, salons, beauty clinics and wellness studios, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. It is shown here in midnight blue, with a double border, Alfa Slab One headings and Archivo Narrow for the smaller text. It works just as well as a membership certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Enjoy [Gift], [Name]. Terms: [one line], valid until [Date].
To: [Name]. From: [Giver]. A gift of [Value] to spend on whatever makes you happy.
This gift certificate entitles [Name] to [Experience] at [Business]. Valid until [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, to, from and value and the signatures. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Classic Pole, Navy Club and Racing Green), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
