Made with martial-arts clubs, dojos and instructors in mind, this Self-defence Course Certificate helps you close a course with something worth keeping without starting from a blank page. Encode Sans sets the title and Inter carries the details, with a badge giving the page its character.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certifies that [Name] has successfully completed the Self-defence Course Certificate, [12] hours of guided study, on [Date].
Awarded to [Name] for completing every module of the Self-defence Course Certificate with commitment and curiosity.
[Name] has met all the requirements of the Self-defence Course Certificate and is presented with this certificate of completion.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the hours of training and skills covered fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Guardian Navy or Safe Teal colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
