About this template
Here is a contemporary way to close a course with something worth keeping: the Black Banded Photography Course Certificate, a template that suits hobby teachers, studios and community classes. It is shown here in black, with a bold band of colour, Parkinsans headings and Inter Tight for the smaller text.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This is to confirm that [Name] attended and completed the Photography Course Certificate, led by [Instructor], from [Start date] to [End date].
Presented to [Name] for reaching the final lesson of the Photography Course Certificate. Well done, and keep practising.

How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the course and sessions fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the Darkroom Amber or Slate & Lime colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Parkinsans and Inter Tight. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
