About this template
Schools, managers and club leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to celebrate a goal that has been reached: a timeless Certificate of Merit that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Look closely and you will notice a geometric pattern and a bold band of colour, set off by Oleo Script lettering in emerald. You will also find it under Graduation on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented with pride to [Name] for an outstanding achievement, from everyone at [Organisation].
This certificate recognises [Name] for an outstanding achievement: exceptional effort, and an even better outcome.
For [Name], whose hard work turned an ambitious goal into a result we can all be proud of.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the portfolio grade and final piece lines. Colours are yours to change: try Pomegranate Abr, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
